SPRING AUDITIONS

 We are gearing up for all of our fun Spring Events! These Auditions open to students enrolled in Koloa &/or Lihue. 

ALADDIN Spring Ballet Auditions:

This audition is for Lead and Supporting Roles. Open to all Ballet students in level 2 (intermediate) or higher. Preference given to current Ballet Company students. Breaking Crew students may audition for lead and supporting roles at 12:45pm. 

NOTE: 

All Dance House Ballet Classes will have a group piece in Aladdin. No audition needed for group pieces - it is part of your Spring Session enrollment!

JUMP Auditions:

This audition is for solos, duos & trios only. Open to current Company & Crew students. 

Please email the following information to info@koloadancehouse.com :  

• Name & Age 

• Competition Type: Solo, Duo or Trio

• Preferred Genre: Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical or Contemporary

• Preferred KDH Instructor as your choreographer

• Other Company or Crew students you wish to dance with, if applicable

You will then be assigned an audition time slot between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: The preferences you submit may not be assigned to you. We will utilize our professional expertise to match you best, so that you have an excellent experience at JUMP. 

All Company & Crew students have the option to compete in a group piece at JUMP. They will compete with the piece they perform in MOMENTS (April 10-13, 2025). No audition needed for JUMP group pieces - it is part of your Spring Session enrollment. 

We will have a special performance for all JUMP group pieces, solos, duos & trios on the same weekend as the Aladdin Spring Ballet (May 16-18, 2025). 

The actual JUMP Competition and Convention is May 30-June 1 on Oahu. 

Solos, Duos & Trios have additional competition fees, costume fees and weekly private lesson fees. All travel, room, board and JUMP competition fees are the responsibility of the student & their parent/guardian. Please take careful consideration if this is something your family can take on financially. A parent-led fundraising group will start meeting in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for details.
