Meet our staff
Rebecca Owen, Owner & Director
Originally from the island of Maui, Rebecca’s early dance training was at Maui Academy of Performing
Arts & on the competitive team at Maui Gymnastics. Growing up she spent her summers doing foreign missions, teaching at Kids Camps & performing in Christian Dance Concerts throughout central & eastern Europe. She went on to get a BA in Organizational Leadership & a minor in Dance from Chapman University. After college she served as the Assistant Director of dance at MAPA Maui for a decade, before shifting her focus to the Kauai dance community, as a teacher at KUGA Dance. In 2019 Koloa Dance House came to fruition and here we are today!
Rebecca lives with her husband & 2 daughters in Kalaheo & also owns Ivy & Co.
